Vanessa is a passionate artist specializing in fine art, using body paints and acrylics to create expressive animal portraits and figurative works. Her unique blend of creativity and artistry brings a fresh perspective to both the canvas and the human body. Through vibrant colours and innovative techniques, Vanessa’s work captures deep emotions and the beauty of the human form. Vanessa began her artistic journey as a wedding photographer before taking a theatrical make-up course, which introduced her to bodypainting. She quickly fell in love with the art form. leading to opportunities with well-known industry names. She has worked with prestigious brands like Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, bodypainting tribal tattoos using Temptu airbrush makeup. She also contributed to the Brit Awrds, collaboring with Emma Cammack for Cheryl Cole's performance. Additionally, she has provided face painting for children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.​

 

During Covid lockdown, Vanessa shifted her focus from painting on the human body to creating acrylic art on canvas. She especially enjoys painting animals and people using bold colours in an abstract figurative style, bringing energy and expression to her work.
